The Government decided to offer Montenegrin airports on concession, and the calling for interested parties will soon be published at the Government’s website, said Minister of Transport, Osman Nurković. As he added, the plan is to rent the airports in Podgorica and Tivat for 25 to 30 years. This way, the Government wants to better valorize potential of airports since the current situation doesn’t satisfy the needs of the country and its citizens.
Minister claims that they won’t sell or privatize the airports.
“We’ll start with the call for granting concessions to some credible, experienced and already established concessionaires at the world market. This might turn into a great job, first and foremost for the country”, says Nurković.
