Due to a huge support and in the run-up to the upcoming constitutive assembly, and in order to enable all interested parties to participate in its work, a platform has been created that should speed up the process of registration of founders, the 21 May Civic Initiative has announced. The founding assembly will be held on February 5.
The Initiative has so far been supported by 2.500 people, including many intellectuals, academics, professors, doctors, lawyers, journalists, athletes, painters, students, workers, seamen, retirees… concerned about the tendency to violate the fundamental values of Montenegro as a secular, democratic, civic and European state.
It was founded as a broad social and state-building movement of free Montenegrin citizens the goal of which is to preserve and affirm the fundamental values of civic and free Montenegro.
