Smokovac loop will be planned so as to enable its construction through phases. At this moment, its connection with the section Smokovac-Uvac-Matesevo and highway M2 are planned, said Minister of Traffic and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurkovic.
The loop should connect two highways, Bar Boljare and Adriatic highway, as well as highway Bar Boljare and Podgorica Kolasin.
“After the construction of priority section, the next phase should include construction of section Matesevo Andrijevica and loops around Podgorica, Smokovac Tolosi Farmaci”, Nurkovic said.
Commenting on the situation in Montenegro Airlines, Nurkovic said the Ministry is keeping in touch with the management and the Ministry of Finance, looking for a sustainable solution.
“The government is not considering bankruptcy, but the new management must implement the agreed goals successfully in the next season. They need to prepare serious financial studies and optimizations of business that the government could consider and possibly adopt”, Nurkovic said.
