Construction of the solar power plant to begin by the end of year

Works on the construction of the solar power plant in Briska Gora in Ulcinj are expected to start by the end of year, said yesterday in the Parliament Ms Dragica Sekulić, Minister of Economy.

MP, Mr Luiđ Škrelja, asked if plans were afoot for the reconstruction of Zoganje-Darza road which leads to the future solar power plant.

Minister said that amendments to the Spatial Plan of Ulcinj envisaged reconstruction of that road.

Solar power plant on Briska gora will cost €200 million and will provide job for 226 people.

The construction has been delegated to the consortium of companies consisting of Electric Power Company of Montenegro, Finnish Fortum and EPC company and Sterling and Wilson from India.

Capacity of the facility will be around 250 mega watts.
