The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, MORiT, has issued a construction permit for the construction of the first stage of the Smokovac interchange on the priority motorway section from Smokovac to Mateševo, writes Pobjeda, a daily.
The permit refers to the interchange construction, toll booth and the substation 20/0.4 kWh.
The Smokovac interchange will be in Podgorica, as part of the cadastral municipalities Rogami and Doljani and it’s going to connect the main road M2 Podgorica – Kolašin and the priority motorway section.
At its session held on 17 January, the Government of Montenegro consented to the construction of necessary works on the Smokovac interchange by the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs. Based on the existing documents, the interchange is foreseen as a link between the Bar – Boljare and Ionic – Adriatic motorways, as well as the access road to the existing road network.
For now, only the first stage of construction will take place, i.e. the connection with the M2 main road.
