Criminal charges against Knezevic, Djukanovic and Radulovic

Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica ordered that lawsuit should be filed against Democratic Front (DF) MPs Milan Knezevic, Milutin Djukanovic and Branko Radulovic for violent behaviour and threats to security.

As the Prosecutor’s Office stated, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) MPs Miodrag Vukovic, Luigj Skrelja and Marta Scepanovic pressed charges because members of other political parties attacked them.

In this regard, the prosecutor ordered the police to collect information whether Knezevic, Djukanovic, Radulovic and their colleague Marina Jocic committed a criminal offense which shall be prosecuted ex officio.

“According to the data collected, the Prosecutor’s Office issued an order to that lawsuit should be filed MPs against M.K., M.Dj. and B.R. for criminal offenses of violent behaviour and endangering security,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The MPs who are charged with the offenses have been summoned to testify as suspects.

“In accordance with their legal rights, they requested an adjournment in order to prepare their defence, which was approved,” it was said in the statement.
