Minister of Foreign affairs, Mr Srđan Darmanović, welcomed today Mr Panajotis Parcos, newly appointed ambassador of Greece.
Mr Darmanović congratulated Mr Parcos on his function and wished him successful diplomatic mission in Montenegro. He praised dynamics of bilateral contacts between the two countries, especially in the domain of economy.
Mr Darmanović thanked Greece for the continuous support and voiced hopes that official Athens would continue to pursue consistent policy with respect to Montenegro’s European perspective.
Ambassador Parcos expressed satisfaction with the friendship two countries cherished. He pointed out that strengthening cooperation would be his priority. He hailed Montenegro’s results in the integration process and Montenegro’s commitment to stable neighborly and regional cooperation.
Interlocutors exchanged views on the current affairs in the EU and agreed that enlargement policy was an important factor for EU’s credibility.
