Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Srđan Darmanović, said that Montenegro confirmed yesterday that it was committed to the rule of law.
“It showed once again that in 2016 it defended itself from the influence of third parties on our sovereign decisions about what we want to be and where we want to belong”, said Mr Darmanović on his Twitter account.
High Court in Podgorica found guilty all the accused persons in the coup attempt in 2016.
The verdict is of first-instance and the accused will have the right of appeal.
