Đukanović at the opening of new “Voli” in Danilovgrad

Montenegro’s President, Mr Milo Đukanović, opened in Danilovgrad today new “Voli” market, an investment worth around €5,5 million.

“I had a pleasure today to attend opening of Voli mall in Danilovgrad, a very valuable investment as it will create incentive to agriculture production”, President said.

He said that Danilovgrad “is municipality that has understood in the best possible way advantages offered by the Government”.

Mr Đukanović pointed out that he was very satisfied with his visit as he could testify to the continuity of responsible development of that municipality.

Today Danilovgrad is in the center of a very intense phase of infrastructure development. Major projects in the area of road infrastructure are under way”, Mr Đukanović said.

President emphasized he wanted to add value to everything that had been done in the previous period.

“Danilovgrad has had its Zavičajni museum reconstructed, its Art gallery renewed. A lot has been done in the improvement of sport infrastructure”, President said.

“Iskra” FC, as prestigious football club in Montenegro, has managed to qualify for the League of Europe and I would take this opportunity to congratulate this club on successes and wish them to go further towards international success”, Mr Đukanović said.
Economic initiatives and investments deserve special attention.

President was happy to see that works in the restoration of Zeta hotel have started.

“We all cherish fond memories of this hotel. We know it wasn’t just a tourist facility. It was prestigious place of social life of Danilovgrad. I am really delighted that the hotel has good investor. I am convinced it will transform the hotel into new, modern tourist capacity”, Mr Đukanović said.

What has been achieved in Danilovgrad becomes even more impressive in the light of the crisis that has paralyzed the whole world, president said.

“I firmly believe Danilovgrad will continue to play a very positive role in prompting other regions in Montenegro to work on improving our country’s image and attract more investors, more entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises which will provide top quality and most dynamic impulse to further economic and social development or our country”, Mr Đukanović concluded.
