Compulsory bank reserves amounted €243,6 million at the end of April , whereas total deposits amounted €3,3 billion.
Around 56,4% has been earmarked in the accounts of compulsory bank reserves in the state. 43,6% has been earmarked in the accounts of the Central Bank of Montenegro abroad.
Average deposits balance of banks, the basis for calculating compulsory reserves, amounted €3,3 billion in March. Around 67,5% relates to the demand deposits and 32,5% relates to time deposits.
Banks in Montenegro have earmarked compulsory reserve on the basis of the decision of the Central Bank of Montenegro.
