This year, record salary amounted €54.440. The amount went into the hands of a domestic citizen employed in the sector of banking and monetary mediation.
This amount makes up 106 average salaries in Montenegro, which range from €510 to €514, 282 minimum wages or 245 minimum wages about to be set up (€222 instead of €193).
“This amount has been paid to a resident employed in the sector of banking and monetary mediation”, said the representatives of Tax Administration.
According to the law, representatives of Tax Administration aren’t allowed to tell the name of persons of companies that are record-holders when it comes to the money they earn.
Another domestic citizen employed in the same sector occupies second position, with €41.292.
“The third highest net salary in the same period amounted €34.337 and it was for a resident employed in the air transport”, said the representatives of Tax Administration.
They say that such enormous amounts have been paid for one month only.
“Therefore, we can’t draw conclusion that these are their regular earnings, but rather severance pay, bonus or some other kind of personal income”, said the representatives of Tax Administration.
Unlike such huge amounts, minimum wage still amounts €193. However, starting from July it will be €222.
Several days ago, member of SDP, Mr Raško Konjević said in Parliament that 77.000 of employees in Montenegro earned less than €250.
