Entrepreneurs satisfied with the exhibition in MOS

Among forty Montenegrin exhibitors at the International Entrepreneurial Fair, MOS, taking place in Celje, Slovenia, from 10 to 15 September 2019, most of them are the representatives of the field of agriculture, food industry and entrepreneurs dealing with metal processing. Their participation was backed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Investment and Development Fund, IRF, and it’s about the continuation of support that has been constantly provided in order to improve production, quality of products, competitiveness and reaching the EU standards.

The fair attracted many visitors as well as companies from the region that had the opportunity to find out more about potentials of the Montenegrin agriculture, a whole range of quality and traditional products making the offer of our country, primarily Montenegrin prosciutto, cheese, wine, rakija, organic cereals and flavor, processed fruit products, olive oil and Montenegrin honey.

President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, Mr Vlastimir Golubović, indicates the importance of Montenegro’s participation at the fair, business forums and the manifestation ‘Days of Montenegro in Slovenia’.

“This event helped us improve the economic and inter-company cooperation with Slovenia, and we had the opportunity to present our culture and tradition.” Mr Golubović said.

Mr Zoran Vukčević, Head of the Investment and Development Fund, says the fair in Celje enabled the Montenegrin entrepreneurs to present their products and make many business contacts.

“MOS was a chance for them to meet with standards and procedures they can expect once Montenegro enter the European Union, so that they can improve their products and services and enter the new markets. The fair itself was an opportunity to promote Montenegro as a state, and all its potentials in the field of tourism, energy sector and agriculture.”
