EPCG: Citizens owe 137 million euros

 

From this amount, the debt of households amounts to 137 million euros, while consumers in other consumption categories or companies owe about 50 million euros, as EPCG said for Dan daily.

The September accounts have been discounted for regular payers – which is as much as 45 percent of households in Montenegro, or a total of 158.06 thousand customers.

“This means that as much as 45 percent of households in Montenegro pay five and ten percent lower electricity prices, due to regular settlement of their electricity bills”, EPCG explained.

EPCG stated that they have understanding for the socio-economic environment, which, they added, is confirmed through constant launching of actions aimed at facilitating the repayment of debts for all categories of consumers.
