Eraković: The first COVID-19 patient was discharged today

 

Dr Jevto Eraković, Director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, announced some good news today. They discharged the first patient who recovered from coronavirus.

“This is great success for the team, because this patient was in a critical condition at one moment. We wish him good health and speedy recovery”, Dr Eraković said.

There are 21 patients in the Clinical Center, two of them are on ventilator.

Doctor warned once again that everybody should adhere to measures.

The most contemporary protocols

Chief of the Medical team of the Clinical Center, Ms Marina Ratković, said that they were doing in accordance with the most contemporary protocols.

She pointed out they had divided patients into three categories.

She also said that patient from Nikšić is more stable today.

106 ventilators

Dr Eraković says that he had obtained information that one of the employees of the Public Works Administration tested positive for COVID-19. Therefore, other employees will be in quarantine.

He said NCB brought decisions minute by minute, depending on the results they got.

Dr Eraković urged everyone to be very careful.

Fearless healthcare workers

Dr Ratković says that healthcare workers do their job professionally, without fear and with high spirits.

“Nobody is complaining. Just like before COVID-19”, she said.

Masks for the first aid

Mask is not absolute protection, but could be used as first aid.

“Those who are on the front line must be fully protected, from head to toes”, Ms Ratković pointed out.
