Fight against grey economy is the priority

 

Prime Minister Duško Marković said that fight against grey economy is our Government’s key task. He also pointed out that income from excise on tobacco has been increased and it’s reached an increase of 13 % in 20 days.

He participated today on “Openly with the Prime Minister”, an event organized by the American Chamber of Commerce. On this occasion, he discussed economic issues, investments, employment, mobility of labor market as well as Government’s support to the American Chamber of Commerce.

He pointed out that Montenegro had recorded a 39 % increase in its industry production, 17% increase in manufacturing industry. Also, an increase has been recorded in the are of tourism, commerce, architecture and forestry.

“This positive result is also your contribution; the contribution of your companies. Feel free to suggest initiatives, maybe something that we don’t expect. Put pressure on us, point out shortcomings of our regulatory reforms so that we can make our environment more favorable and make the conditions for the valorization even better”, said Marković.

“We’ve provided both political stability and safety for Montenegro and by entering the NATO alliance we’ve made that sustainable”, said Marković.
