Financial plans of independent regulatory bodies: Five agencies to earn €8.78m

Five key independent regulatory bodies, whose draft annual financial plans are being presented to parliamentarians along with a draft budget for the same year, are currently in parliamentary procedure.

Thus, the MPs, in addition to the details of state revenues and expenditures for 2022, are considering the financial plans of the agencies for electronic communications and postal services, electronic media, insurance supervision, the Energy and Utilities Regulatory Agency and the Capital Market Commission.

According to the amount of funds, the most modest revenues and expenditures for 2022 are planned by the Capital Market Commission. It will earn a total of €980,600, which is 26.86% less than this year.

The largest reduction in revenue compared to the 2021 Plan relates to other revenues and it amounts to nearly €40,000 (89%).
