First landing of allied planes – confirmation of partnership

President of the Government of Montenegro, Mr Duško Marković and UK Minister of State for Defense, Mr Frederick Richard Penn Curzon, 7th Earl Howe, said that Montenegro proved itself as a reliable and responsible member of NATO Alliance in a very short period of time.

After they visited two Euro-fighters of the UK aviation which landed yesterday at military airport “Knjaz Danilo” in Podgorica, PM thanked Minister Curzon for the support UK provides and said that the first landing of alled planes was a solid proof of firm and stable interstate relations between Montenegro and the UK.

“These planes are an essential confirmation that Montenegro is very visible within the Alliance and is seen as country-partner”, said PM.

PM spoke about strategic objectives of the Government and the results achieved so far, while pointing out that our economic growth and other economic successes were a consequence of NATO membership.
