First trucks carrying vegetables leave Tuzi

Three companies in Malesija started purchasing agricultural products to try to reduce damage inflicted on the owners of greenhouses.

Representatives of the Municipality of Tuzi said that farmers could call the following agriculture pharmacies and order whatever they needed: Tritucum 069-138-700 and 069645-500, Agro centar – 069334-043 and 067-344-043, Hona -069-626-533  and Agropromos na 068-021-911 i 067-021911.

A farmer from Pothum, Mr Željko Milić, calls on the Minister of Agriculture to help food producers in those difficult days.

“Minister hasn’t said a word about that. He remembered hairdressers, taxi drivers, cooks, and that’s ok, but what about us? We import food frantically now, although we have farmers who could feed every citizen in Montenegro”, Mr Milić points out.

Life in quarantine isn’t simple at all. Monday night, residents had troubles taking a pregnant woman to the town.

“We didn’t know what to do. We called Ambulance to take her. They arrived after one hour. While we were waiting, we were in contact with nurses from Malesija”, says Mr Redžep Čunmuljaj, head of the Municipal Police.

Director of the Public Utility service, Mr Nikola Camaj, says that “all’s well that ends well”.

“A healthy baby girl was born in family Lekić, that’s what matters. However, there are some uncertainties in that context and the Headquarters must address that. We have no Emergency Unit here”, Mr Camaj says.

He pointed out that life in Malesija was calm and with no panic.

Dr Halil Duković, doctor in the healthcare center in Tuzi, reiterates that everybody must respect measures and orders from the National Coordination Body.

Coordinator of volunteers for Sukuruć, Mr Zef Devdukaj, says that basic supplies and hygiene products are delivered on a daily basis.

Vice president of the Municipality, Mr Ivan Ivanaj, is grateful to every donator.
