France and its leader, Mr Emmanuel Macron, don’t oppose enlargement policy and Western Balkans accession to the EU, said French Ambassador to Montenegro, Ms Christine Toudic.

She says that France hasn’t imposed veto.

Ambassador said that non-paper of the official Paris should be a motivation for our country and encouragement to continue the good work.

Asked if the latest France’s messages could open space for other players, Ms Toudic said that president Macron hadn’t blocked the membership of North Macedonia and Albania.

“France is not against enlargement policy and WN integration. It just considers it requires more time. Therefore, the process is on, but the consensus on this subject wasn’t reached. There’s no veto”, explained Ms Toudic.
