Gegaj: Husović, Đeka and Zenka had right to reject the three-headed coalition

Nikola Gegaj

Member of the Main Board of DPS, Mr Nikola Gegaj, has said that leaders of Bosniak party and Albanian coalition had right to reject the invitation to be part of the three-headed coalition.

“Mr Rafet Husović, Mr Fatmir Đeka and Mr Mehmet Zenka were clear in their statements. They said that minority nations would never enter the government together with those who are not able to pledge that they will advocate for state national interests”, Mr Gegaj said.

According to him, minorities need rule of law, civil organization and maximum tolerance of political forces in power.

“Do political subjects of this three-headed coalition fill minority parties with confidence? No. Wherever Albanians and Bosniaks are called by derogatory names, and wherever European future of Montenegro is being undermined, there’s no place for minority nations”, Mr Gegaj said.

Minorities want all achievements of Montenegro to be preserved in future.

“To quote Meša Selimović: “The waves of history are breaking on us like on a ridge”, Mr Gegaj concluded.
