Medenica is leaving

After beginning her third office as the head of the Montenegrin judiciary, Ms Vesna Medenica resigned from the function. Her previous decision to continue with the third office caused a storm of criticisms from the EU addresses. This was generally the state of the judicial system, as she was the serious stumbling block for Montenegro’s integration progress, judging by many reports.

Deputy Prime Minister, in charge of fictitious dismissals, credited even this Medenica’s decision to himself on Twitter, so as to be administered the daily injection of serotines made of likes.

Serbia closest to Dritan

While Mr Abazović’s friend is still introducing himself as the ambassador of Serbia in Montenegro, Mr Abazović speaks for the N1 television that Montenegro does not have a closer friend than Serbia, “historically, traditionally, and in terms of family ties.”

Parliamentary knot

DIK members that voted against verification of MP Zoronjić, explain that actually, they did not vote against her verification, but that they had objections to the lawfulness of the session that was, according to them, held without a legally constituted quorum.

Montenegrin Orthodox Church urged the opposition to boycott institutions.

Ms Ana Pejović, a member of UBNOR, wrote an open letter to Ms Suada Zoronjić due to her inglorious beginning as a member of the Parliament of Montenegro.

Call for assistance to Croatia ignored?

While numerous supporters of the new majority celebrate the earthquake in Croatia, many organizations and institutions have sent messages of condolences and worries. Numerous actions of gathering humanitarian aid have been organized across Montenegro. Still, the former head of the Government bureau for public relations has said that the institutional assistance from the Government of Montenegro has failed this time.

Uncertainty of inoculation

While the neighbouring countries are receiving first contingents of vaccines, or at least have detailed steps and action plans known, our Ministry announces the beginning of vaccination for the end of January, even though the Minister does not know which vaccine and when exactly will be delivered to Montenegro. The Minister accused the former government of the delay in processes. Mr Kenan Hrapović, former Minister of Health, responded to the current Minister that agreements were entered into and advance payments were made during the transition period, and everything that was left for the new health authorities to do is to pay guarantees in just two clicks, which was done on 14th December.

What would you call the Orthodox shariah?

SNP is asking for the perpetrators of the “desecration of the mural” representing the late bishop Amfilohije in Kolašin to be found and punished. In my humble opinion, the billboards and murals with church dignitaries across Montenegro are desecrating and profaning religion. They are proof of the dangerous clericalization of society.

Montenegro is shutting down, Serbia is recapitalizing

While our Minister is doing brainstorming on the name of the new airline and is drawing a tri-colour logo, Serbia has recapitalized Air Serbia, and as of yesterday, the Serbian government is the owner of 82% of the company, instead of the previous 51%.

That would be all for now. Read us again in the New 2021 Year.
