Effect of the photo-finish of the American elections on Nebojša Medojević

Although the outcome of the elections in America was uncertain, only two regional politicians have dared to congratulate Trump before it was all over. The first was Mr Janez Janzha and the second was leader of the Movement for Changes, Mr Nebojša Medojević. Mr Medojević wrote everything and anything on his Twitter account. For example, that Mr Biden is “Milo’s friend”. He even went that far as to accusing “Biden’s communists” for the coup, spreading disinformation about the number of registered voters in Wisconsin.

Vital Montenegrin politics in the shadow of U.S. elections

Government’s staff allusions

Although in shadow, Montenegrins scene was quite alive yesterday. Prime Minister-designate is expected to present his expert cabinet today.

However, seems like the experts are also politicians. Two favorites of DF: Mr Andrija Jovićević, candidate for the Minister of Interior and Mr Vuk Kadić, candidate for the Minister of Health. But the third name was the most interesting of all. Colonel Vladislav Vlahović, former temporary head of the Montenegro’s representation office in NATO.

Staff insinuations from the church

“Bishop elected the government, and now the government shall elect the bishop”, tweeted yesterday Mr Nikola Samardžić, Serbian historian. Part of the Montenegrin public and the church has proposed Bishop Joanikije as the heir of the Metropolitan Amfilohije. Mr Marko Milačić, leader of ‘Real Montenegro’ and MP, wrote about it to the Patriarch. According to some other information, Belgrade’s favorite is Mr David Perović.

Turmoil continues

Mr Milan Knežević has criticized Mr Krivokapić and Mr Bečić in Serbian media, accusing them, of recognizing Kosovo and giving up on the fight for the rights of Serbian people in Montenegro.

And while they are argui9ng, salaries are already at the account, with almost €200.000 allocated in the new convocation.

Coronavirus: “close to disastrous scenario”

Unfortunately, the church is still the subject of the public health. Patriarch Irinej, who was showing symptoms even during the funeral, has tested positive for the virus. Bishop Joanikije was sent home for treatment, after being diagnosed with pneumonia. PCR test later showed that Mr Joanikije was also positive for the virus.

Dr Jelena Borovinić-Bojović was interrogated in Police Directorate.

After the weekend, epidemic situation in Montenegro got worse.
