Government and entrepreneurs together in the Let’s Buy Domestic Products campaign

A campaign named Let’s Buy Domestic Products is aimed at promoting domestic products and services. The government is launching it in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG), and in partnership with retail chains and producers.

On the eve of launching the campaign, a meeting of the Government representatives and producers was held in Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce (PKCG).

The participants conclude that the campaign should contribute to better positioning of domestic products on the market and raising consumer awareness.

Agriculture minister Milutin Simovic said that this isn’t a campaign, but that it should be a regular and continuous job for all of us.

Economy minister Dragica Sekulic said that Montenegro, as a member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and a signatory of the CEFTA agreement, was conditioned not to favour domestic products over imported ones, but it could make it more visible.

The PKCG chairman Vlastimir Golubovic explained that the programme was aimed at motivating producers, retail chains and consumers to contribute better visibility and positioning of domestic products.
