The government approved the construction of a boulevard in Podgorica

At the last cabinet meeting, the government approved the signing of the agreement on co-financing the reconstruction of 3.3km of the Podgorica-Cetinje road and authorised the minister of transport and maritime affairs Osman Nurkovic to sign it.

The government tasked the Transport Directorate with including the funds necessary for the implementation of the project in the capital budget for the next year.

The Capital City announced that the agreement referred to the co-financing of the reconstruction of the Podgorica-Cetinje section running from the intersection with the Miloje Pavlovic street to the beginning of the third lane in the Kokoti village. The section is 3.3km long.

The project is €10.6m worth. Out of that €6.4m will be spent on works falling in the scope of Transport Directorate’s responsibilities and €4.2m for the ones Capital City is responsible for.
