Granting €500,000 for youth projects is a clear indication of the Government’s intention to strengthen cooperation with NGOs through the Ministry of Sports. Sports minister Nikola Janovic announced this at today’s press conference.
All this, as the minister said, with an emphasis on improving the position of the youth, as one of the Government’s key priorities, through a significantly greater support to those organisations the programs of which are aimed at building a society in which young people are a pillar of development.
Pointing out that the Ministry of Sports, as promised, tripled this year’s budget for the development of youth policy, Janovic specified that the youth organisations through this competition will be granted €400,000, plus €100,000 based on the competition, which will be announced at the latest by the end of April, in accordance with the Law on Non-Governmental Organisations.
