The government will form a 15 member team of experts to propose a model for the continuance of the highway construction to the Serbian border and lead negotiations with bidders.
The team will be headed by the minister of transport Osman Nurkovic and will also be tasked with defining bidder requirements, assessing bids, and coordinating the implementation of the project.
The Montenegrin government has strongly emphasized that the continuation of the highway construction is a state priority and sees the project as a key to development which directly influences the country’s accessibility and progress, particularly for the northern region.
