We are successfully dealing with the problem referring to the medical gear procurement, and today we expect three tons of it to arrive in Montenegro after which follows its distribution to all healthcare institutions. In the beginning of next week, we expect new supplies to come and they will be distributed to pharmacies, so that the citizens can purchase face masks and protective gloves, health minister, Mr Kenan Hrapović, told this morning during his visit to Tuzi.

Minister Hrapović also talked with president of the Municipality of Tuzi, Mr Nik Đeljošaj, and a doctor in the Tuzi’s Health Center, Mr Halil Duković, to check whether everything was functioning well when it comes to the health protection of the Tuzi residents, who have been self-isolating for four days already due to the coronavirus outbreak in this municipality.

“According to data of the Public Health Institute, until this morning, a total of 85 residents of Tuzi had tested for the coronavirus. Of this number, 31 people are confirmed to have Covid-19. Two patients are hospitalized in the Clinical Center of Montenegro, having good general health condition,” Mr Hrapović told.
