Government has determined the proposal for the decision on the adoption of Detailed spatial plan for the space of multi-purpose accumulation on Komarnica river, the most important document which is prerequisite for starting capital energy project – 170 meters high hydro power plant, with 170 MW of installed power and 209 GWh of capacity, Mrs Marina Izgarević-Pavićević, Director General of the Directorate for Planning, has said.
The most important criterion for defining the elevation of normal deceleration is not to disturb natural regime in the Šavnik zone and in the Nevidio canyon.
“Arched and concrete dam of Komarnica hydro power plant will be located in a very narrow “V” profile of the canyon. It will be 171 meters high, with around 440 radius and crown length of around 211 meters. Details well be set out in project documentation“, Mrs Izgarević-Pavićević said.
