Institute for Public Health confirms 289 new coronavirus infections

COVID-19 cases in Montenegro continue to rise. In the last 24 hours, another three patients died, 289 new cases were reported and 189 patients recovered. There are currently 3646 active COVID-19 cases in Montenegro.

“The testing of 794 people found 289 new coronavirus cases”, Institute for Public Health reported.

New cases were registered in Podgorica -89, Nikšić -85, Rožaje -31, Berane -18, Pljevlja -18, Kotor -13, Budva -9, Cetinje -7, Bijelo Polje -5, Bar -4, Andrijevica -4, Mojkovac-2, Tivat-2, Ulcinj -1 and Tuzi-1.

Patients who passed away were from Podgorica, Andrijevica and Berane and were born in 1953 (two) and in 1957.

COVID-19 death toll in Montenegro since the virus broke out is 154.

A total of 9717 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed so far.
