It can’t be true that no one’s ever right but Serbia

David

Filip David, a writer, never had problems with pointing out to his political opinions, anomalies of the system we are living in and consequences of acts of certain politicians responsible for destruction, mayhem and deepening of the gap among the peoples of the region.

In an interview with Pobjeda daily, Mr David pointed out to media manipulation, various reality programs that only distract people from other important matters. In addition, he reflected on some kind of hysteria in the society, xenophobia and glorification all with the aim of deepening divisions and generating new hatred…

Ever since the destruction of former Yugoslavia, civil war and the destruction of the Union of Serbia and Montenegro, we blame others for what has been happening in the region. When asked about his feelings whenever he comes to MNE and other countries of the region, Mr David said: “I used to go to MNE, B&H and CRO during the wars and afterwards. I grew up in Yugoslavia and I have special feelings towards the former common state known as Yugoslavia even though I’m fully aware of its shortcomings.”

On the church issue in Montenegro and the relations between Montenegro and Serbia, he told: “I see nothing inconvenient in Montenegro’s intention to pass the new religious freedom law. The law itself is good, but, of course, you have to be aware of possible violations. The Orthodox Church must not act as an independent state as it often does in Serbia and Montenegro as well. Many people in Serbia still can’t accept the fact that Montenegro is an independent state, and one can hear some of them saying Montenegro is an enemy. No one is ever right but Serbia. It can’t be true.”
