Five coronavirus deaths, 86 new cases and 226 recoveries in Montenegro

Another 86 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Montenegro today, while a further five people had died Sunday of the virus. The patients counted in today’s death toll were from Kolašin, Berane, Ulcinj (2) and Bar. Meanwhile, 226 people beat the virus. There are currently 4.385 active cases, i.e. 696 infections per 100K people.

Labs of the Public Health Institute as well as private labs carrying out PCR diagnosis of the coronavirus have pulled 463 samples for PCR testing in the last 24 hours and detected 86 new cases.

New cases are from Podgorica 69, Bar 5, Danilovgrad 3, Rožaje 3, Bijelo Polje 2, Cetinje 1, Nikšić 1, Pljevlja 1 and Ulcinj 1.

Data show there have now been 227 coronavirus-related deaths in MNE from early June, i.e. 236 since the pandemic started in March.

Analysis of 212 samples that were sent to Germany came back today and found 102 positive cases that were sampled on 12, 13 and 14 October and will be registered as new infections as follows: 12 October -27, 13 October- 49 and 14 October – 26.
