Former Minister of Economy, Vladimir Kavarić, is still in the game for Podgorica.
As CdM finds out, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) would be glad to see him performing that function.
“He’s a respectable man, extremely knowledgeable, which he proved during his term as minister. He’s not somebody who chases important functions, but he’s a great man. Everything’s possible, although, he hasn’t shown any interest for this function yet. We’ll know everything accurately very soon”, says a source from DPS.
Ivan Vuković is also in the game.
“He’s young, perspective, somebody who represents the future. We believe he would be able to manage the town. A young man with a vision”, says our source.
Current Mayor, Slavoljub Migo Stijepović isn’t out of the game yet, and Minister of Tourism and Sustainable Development, Pavle Radulović is also one of the candidates.
Dragan Bokan, the owner of “Voli” company will not be part of this game.
As far as the governing coalition in Podgorica is concerned, it will be composed of the DPS, SD, Albanians and Liberals.
The function of the President of the Assembly will be served by Đorđe Suhih.
