Knežević: The more you pay Ivanović and Perović, the more they’re against Serbs of DF entering a new govt

Knežević

TV Vijesti and Daily Press, the publisher of Vijesti daily, sent invoices for media advertising of the bloc For the Future of Montenegro, which confirm statements of the leader of the Democratic Front, DF, Mr Milan Knežević, that “Serbs paid €500.000 to Vijesti for advertising during the election campaign”. TV Vijesti sent the € 355.193 invoice to the coalition led by Mr Zdravko Krivokapić, while Daily Press sent two invoices totaling €122.298. The contract on business cooperation on behalf of the bloc For the Future of Montenegro was signed by Mr Milutin Đukanović.

Mr Knežević told Pobjeda daily he had documents confirming everything he had said in the parliament concerning the money paid to Vijesti.

“Everything I told in the parliament about our business cooperation with Vijesti can be proved with the contract and invoices. I don’t believe that any other coalition can pay them such a huge amount of money, but it seems that the more you pay them, the more Miško Perović and Željko Ivanović are against Serbs of the Democratic Front entering a new government. An extremely strange math: Serbs are good and serious only when they pay the second family which now has decided to become the first one,” Mr Knežević told Pobjeda daily.

All data, according to him, are reported to the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, ASK.

When asked about them, ASK didn’t give a precise answer. They rather instructed Pobjeda daily to visit their website and take a look at all published contracts and prices. The Agency also told they had been continuously monitoring the activities of all political entities and service providers during the election campaign.

Moreover, ASK informed Pobjeda that they were going to exercise control over full conformity of submitted reports of political entities with all collected data on costs and activities from various sources, within the legal deadline – 10 days after the expiration date to submit the aforementioned reports.

On 23 September, during the parliament’s sitting, Mr Knežević told that Mr Ivanović had taken “€500.000 from Serbs living on the outskirts, who stunk of melon and watermelon, during the election campaign”.
