The Board for the preparation of the Congress of the Social Democratic Party of Montenegro, SDP, at its second session, has decided that the 10th SDP Congress will be held on 29 November, the party stated today.
“The Congress will be held on several different locations via an online conference having in mind the current epidemiological situation and imposed health measures due to the coronavirus. The SDP will thus be the first political party to organize the sitting of its highest party body in this manner,” the SDP explained.
They continued: “In addition to electing a new party leadership, the SDP will adopt a political Declaration on Strategic Directions of Political Action at the forthcoming Congress, guided by the need for the party to profile itself even more strongly as a civic, reform and state-oriented political force, especially in the light of new political circumstances.”
