Krivokapić: If they offer you money, take it and vote for the best

Krivokapić

The freedom achieved in Montenegro must mean free, and not secure vote, in all elections, regardless of the political structure it comes from, said Prime Minister, Mr. Zdravko Krivokapić, after the Government session held in Cetinje.

“We hear various stories from Niksic. No talking, citizens of Niksic, if someone offers you money, take it and vote for the best. The best are certainly not those who have been in power until August 30, it is not them“, said Mr. Krivokapić.

As the Prime Minister said, only someone who looked after their personal interest can leave the country in such a state.

Mistaking paper shredder for portable AC unit

Commenting on the story about the destroying of evidence, Mr. Krivokapić said that a huge number of documents were moved from the Government building, and disappeared.

“What happened to them, I cannot say. It is known who participated in that and when, and most likely a large part of the evidentiary material was taken away. There was a machine in my office, I thought it was a portable AC unit, I did not touch it. Once I accidentally leaned on it and turned it on, and realized it was a paper shredder. Why are papers being destroyed? The key element that serves as any evidence is a written record or paper”, said Mr. Krivokapić.

Much of the documentation from 2016 to 2020 destroyed?

Prime Minister also said that he had the information he was looking for.

“It is most likely true that a large portion of documentation was destroyed between 2016 and 2020. I am asking the competent authorities, and primarily the prosecutor’s office, to do their job effectively and efficiently, and to act based on facts, and impartially”, Mr. Krivokapic said.
