Prime Minister-designate, Mr Zdravko Krivokapić, announced today after parliament session that took place in Cetinje that the composition of the new government will be known by Friday. He also said that candidates for ministers “will not be part of the party that Mr Miodrag Daka Davidović is about to establish”.
Mr Krivokapić confirmed that Mr Dritan Abazović will be vice-president of the Government and said he has three candidates for ministers of interior and defense although he declined to tell their names.
Mr Krivokapić pointed out that Minister of Interior is the most important function in the new government because they want to include Police Directorate into the Ministry of Interior.
Speaking about the newly-formed party, National movement, Mr Krivokapić reiterated that his ministers “are not part of that party and it’s not nicer to form a political party before the Government is formed”.
“None of the candidates for ministers is part of any party and they will never be, for the duration of this term of office”, he said.
Prime Minister-designate stresses that solutions will be reached if there are no any obstructions.
“This is the first time we are going through changes. We hope that the best solutions will be reached and that the difficult economic situation will be overcome. The fact that we are a small system gives us hope and chance that we will come up with the best solutions. IMF arrangement is not the only option. We have got other solutions but for now, that’s all we are going to say about it”, Mr Krivokapić said.
