The High Court in Podgorica confirmed the indictment issued by the High State Prosecutor’s Office against Marko Lasevic (22) from Podgorica, charging him with the murder of fellow citizen Momir Zecevic (27) on 27 October last year in the Zlatica neighbourhood in Podgorica.
According to the indictment, on 27 October, at around 5 pm, Lasevic killed Zecevic after a short argument and quarrel.
After the murder, the accused Lasevic claimed he had no intention to kill his friend. He had accidentally pulled the trigger.
Lasevic said they had a fight over debts.
Zecevic and Lasevic were previously known to the police for alleged connection with the Zagoric criminal gang.
