Apart from traditional political parties, there will be two more civic blocs to take part in the forthcoming Niksic election, while Europe Now will engage for the first time. The For the Future of Niksic bloc comprises the largest number of parties, while it’s most likely that the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) will stand in the election as independent.
Niksic residents, as Radio Montenegro reports, will be able to choose among a larger number of candidates compared to four years ago.
According to PES MP, Ugljesa Urosevic, his party is still considering how they’re going to present themselves in the election.
“Of course, we have been taking intensive action in this regard, as other parties, I assume. We expect to see a good result.”
Civic blocs will be run by recognized activists.
