Following yesterday’s unsuccessful agreement of the opposition on a joint candidate for the forthcoming presidential elections, the Demos leader, Miodrag Lekić, proposed the Democrats leader, Aleksa Bečić, to be a joint presidential candidate. Aleksa Bečić refused this proposal, Pobjeda has written.
According to information of Pobjeda, Bečić described this suggestion as ridiculous, stating that this party has already announced their leader won’t run for the country’s presidency even though the opposition doesn’t manage to reach an agreement.
Yesterday’s meeting of the opposition leaders finished with no agreement on a joint presidential candidate.
