The company Luštica Development filed a request to the Energy Regulatory Agency, RAE, in early June for getting a status of a closed distribution system, which would ensure this company full independence in the electricity distribution for its facilities.
Procedures upon its request are still pending, RAE clarified for Dnevne Novine daily.
“A closed distribution system distributes electricity within a geographically confined site for special purposes,“ RAE told.
Luštica Development, owned by the Orascom Development, is building the Luštica Bay seaside resort at the Montenegrin coast. If RAE grants it the status of a closed distribution system, this company will provide electricity for their facilities on their own instead of using CEDIS’s infrastructure.
