Marković in Tivat: Local administration takes care of the citizens and their needs

Montenegro’s Prime Minister, Mr Duško Marković, said at the end of his visit to Tivat that the Municipality took good care of the spending and development.

“I saw the Municipality is well-organized, with great financial and development potential. Citizens and their needs come first in Tivat. Therefore, congratulations”, said PM.

Mr Marković  and Mr Siniša Kusovac, president of the Municipality, and Mr Ivan Novosel, president of the Municipal Assembly, discussed and analyzed achievements of the municipality in the past three years. They also touched on the plans for the future.

PM and president of the Municipality marked the commencement of the construction of the roundabout, they visited renewed cultural institutions, almost finished Daily center for children with difficulties in Seljanovo and newly-built road from Solilo to Pržno crossroads.

PM expressed his satisfaction with the work of local administration and the way it sorted out priorities.

Mayor of Tivat acquainted Mr Marković with all projects.

Journalists asked Mr Marković if they discussed development of the Airports at the meeting.

“Definitely. It’s a project with huge development potential not only for Montenegro’s tourism but also for the entire economy. It will bring numerous benefits, create new jobs and increase revenues. Tivat will feel the benefits most. There’s no risk here. Tivat will maintain the same level of recognition and will have one of the best economic offers in Montenegro”, pointed out Mr Marković.
