Prime Minister, Duško Marković, and president of CRBC company, Du Fei, said that the priority section of the Bar-Boljare highway would be finished by the middle of 2020.
CRBC is ready to take over the works on the next sections, applying the principle of private and public partnership.
“I’m following this project on weekly basis. Next year, I expect to go along the highway. I watched him from the helicopter just enough”, said the PM.
All open questions regarding the priority section have been resolved at the meeting.
Mr Marković said that this wasn’t only a construction undertaking, but also a sign of friendship between Montenegro and China.
President of the CRBC company thanked for the continuous support given in the efforts of the company and he expressed readiness to continue cooperation with Montenegro. Prime Minister expects that the Proposal Law on Public and Private Partnership will soon go through the procedure of the Government. After the adoption of this Law, normative assumptions for transparent initiation of specific public procedures for the construction of next sections will be created.
The visit of the president of CRBC is a practice, since he regularly visits the branches of his company. Projects that this company is carrying out in the Balkans have enormous importance.
