Montenegro’s population is 620.000. We want it [the population] to grow, not to decline, prime minister, Mr Duško Marković, noted today in his address to the nation.
“Therefore, there is no room for making estimations about what we can and what we cannot do, and whether tradition and rituals, either secular or religious, are above the nation’s right to life and health.“
In his speech, Mr Marković said Montenegro currently has everything under control, but we have to act in a more decisive and stronger way over the coming weeks.

Certain events, he added, encouraged us a lot.
“Yesterday we received 3.5 tons of medical equipment. In addition, a €2 million delivery ordered and paid by our state is due to come on 2 April. The EU backed Montenegro with a €3 million direct assistance for urgent procurement of medical equipment,“ Mr Marković tweeted.
And he has a message for all Montenegro employers.
