While the Government of Montenegro, DF, Democrats and URA are making a circus about the extradition of the convicted Svetozar Marović, convening emergency press conferences to say that they renewed the extradition request to Serbia by DHL, Mr Marović trades freely with Carinvest. The company is owned by Mr Marko Bato Carević, the mayor of Budva, Dnevne Novine reports.

At the end of last year, Mr Carević bought five plots with a total area of 12,503m² from Svetozar and Dragan Marović, as well as their nephew Mr Ljubo Ilić, located at the territory of the Municipality of Kotor.

The current director of the National Security Agency, Mr Dejan Vukšić, who is the lawyer of Mr Carević and his company Carinvest, was also involved in the purchase of this land complex, thanks to which he was elected first as the mayor of Kotor, and then as the first man of the secret police.

Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said at an earlier emergency press conference that it was extremely compromising that Mr Marović, who admitted that he was at the head of an organized criminal group in Montenegro, could walk freely in another country, and that his son was doing some business activities.

Minister of Justice, Human and Minority Rights, Mr Vladimir Leposavić, said that a request for Mr Marović‘s extradition was sent via DHL to the competent state body of Serbia.
