Marović’s extradition is in the hands of Ministry of Justice

Vesna Medenica

Courts of Montenegro have done everything regarding the extradition of Svetozar Marović. Now, the rest is up to the Ministry of Justice, said the President of the Supreme Court, Vesna Medenica.

As far as the case of permanent seizure of property is concerned, that process is on. Boris Savić, President of the Higher Court didn’t want to comment on the speculations that the apartment allegedly owned by Marović was sold.

“The court decided previously that there are no reasons for seizure of the property and, with that decision in force, Marović wasn’t prohibited to use that apartment. Whether he sold that apartment or not, I don’t know. From the judicial point of view, it’s not relevant either”, said Savić.
