Cetinje Basic Prosecutor’s Office has brought a case against Metropolitan Amfilohije Radović over statements he had delivered and therefore insulted minority nations and other national communities, this institution has stated.

Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica submitted the afore-mentioned case against the leading bishop of Serbian Orthodox Church to their colleagues in Cetinje, after the Montenegrin Movement filed a criminal charge against the Metropolitan. The case has been submitted to Cetinje prosecutor’s office as “Radović had delivered his speech while serving a liturgy in Cetinje monastery”.
According to Montenegrin Movement, in his speech, Radović compared Montenegrins with oxen that are synonyms for feebleness and mental retardation and therefore ruined reputation of Montenegrin people.
