Milenkovic: Addicted to music

Famed violinist Stefan Milenkovic is set to perform in Novi Sad these days, playing famous Violin Concerto in D major by Tchaikovsky.

“This might be the concert I have played the most in my career. On one hand, this is a very romantic work, on the other, it’s not. There is elegance, finesse, subtlety”, Milenkovic said.

When you play classical music, you try to give it your own signature.

“I heard of people who play very strangely. But you must give yourself freedom of interpretation“.

Stefan would be ready to change his career if he found it brought him no more pleasure.

“You need motivation, inspiration and creativity to have a long-term career. But I am not under pressure to remain a violinist, but I am a little bit addicted to music. Violin is at the basis of my being, hidden even in things that have nothing to do with music”.
