As Dnevne Novine has learnt from a source in the new airline ToMontenegro, Mr Milovan Milić has resigned from ToMontenegro’s board of directors. Dnevne contacted Mr Milić for a comment, but he didn’t respond to journalists’ calls and messages.

Dan also writes that the Agency for Protection of Competition is not examining the purchase of two planes for the needs of ToMontenegro.

A total of $21m was paid for those planes from the founding capital of the new state airline. The founding capital for ToMontenegro was paid by the Government from the budget.

The Agency has told Dan that the Government didn’t ask for its opinion before buying the planes, nor did it ask for the transaction to be examined by the European Commission or MPs. It points out that it would have been more expedient if the competent ministry, as the decision proposer, had sought the Agency’s opinion before passing the decision.
