Director of the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies, Jelena Milić, said in the interview for “Pobjeda” that claims of state authorities of Serbia of unfriendly voting of Montenegro regarding potential Kosovo Interpol membership are absurd and hypocritical.
“It is absurd that Vulin and Dačić moralize regarding Montenegro, when we all know that there has been a dispute regarding two persons who are on wanted list because of the coup attempt in Montenegro. That’s hypocrisy”, says Milić.
She also commented on constant interference of Russia in the Montenegrin affairs, internal and external.
“It’s very similar to Baltic countries in which Russia chooses ethnic Russian minority. In Montenegro, it chooses orthodox majority and division to new ethnic identities, that I generally welcome. Formation of nations is a legitimate thing, especially if they are formed on the concept on civic identity”, said Milić.
According to her, intention of Montenegro that all religious communities should be put under legal frames is reasonable.
