The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Croatia has confirmed for CdM that yesterday one of its planes left for Montenegro to help put out the fire. However, in the meantime, Operational Communication Center 112 informed it that help was not needed, and the place was therefore called off.
It adds that Croatia has expressed its willingness to help Montenegro in putting out fires, as it has done so far in helping other countries – the air force also participated in putting out fires in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Slovenia.
So far, the Montenegrin Ministry of the Interior has not stated anything about this, although CdM sent it questions.
